Đề bài:
Chứng minh rằng:$\sqrt{2} \leq \sqrt{1+x}+\sqrt{1-x}\leq 2, \forall x \in [-1,1]$
Lời giải
Đặt: $x=\cos 2\alpha,\alpha \in [0,\frac{\pi}{2}]$
Suy ra:
$A= \sqrt{1+x}+\sqrt{1-x}= \sqrt{2\cos ^{2}\alpha}+\sqrt{2\sin ^{2}\alpha}$
$=\sqrt{2}(\sin\alpha+\cos \alpha)$ ( do $\alpha\in[0;\frac{\pi}{2}]\Rightarrow sin\alpha, cos\alpha\in[0;1]$)
Mà: *$\sin\alpha+\cos \alpha=\sqrt{2}(\alpha+\frac{\pi}{4})\leq \sqrt{2}$
*$\sin\alpha+\cos \alpha=\sqrt{1+\sin 2\alpha}\geq 1$
( do $\alpha\in[0;\frac{\pi}{2}]\Rightarrow sin2\alpha\in[0;1]$)
$\Rightarrow \sqrt{2}.1\leq A\leq \sqrt{2}.\sqrt{2} $
$\Rightarrow \sqrt{2}\leq A\leq 2$
$\Rightarrow$(ĐPCM)
